Scott Montgomery, CPA, is a Senior Manager at Marcum, LLP, a top ranked nation accounting and advisor services firm which provides a full spectrum of traditional tax, accounting, and assurance services; financial, risk, and transaction advisor services; valuation, forensic, and litigation services; technology consulting and managed services; and an extensive portfolio of specialty and niche industry practices.
Scott has more than 25 years of experience providing accounting and auditing services to privately-owned businesses, local governments and not-for-profit organizations.
Scott started his accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and worked for RSM and Caler, Donten Levine, Cohen, Porter & Veil, PA prior to joining Marcum.
Scott also served in various leadership positions during his career in the United States Army in the areas of logistics, contracting, supply, finance and transportation for both Active Duty and Reserve Units. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserves.
Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with highest honors in Accounting from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas and a Master of Taxation (MT) from Baylor University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida and Texas.
