The Housing Heroes Awards recognizes individuals, organizations and municipalities who have demonstrated a commitment to the improvement of housing, as evidenced by their passion, their housing development projects or their advocacy for increased workforce or affordable housing in Palm Beach County.

Do you know someone making a difference in housing in Palm Beach County? Whether it’s through advocacy, development, or community impact, now is the time to recognize their efforts!

Housing Impact Award

This award recognizes an individual, municipality or organization demonstrating outstanding commitment, effectiveness, and/or creativity in meeting housing-related needs through one or more projects or specific programs over an extended period of time or a career.

For-Profit Developer of the Year

This award recognizes a private, for-profit organization that has been instrumental in developing one or more successful workforce or affordable housing developments.

Not-for-Profit Developer of the Year

This award honors a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or CHDO leader for advancing affordable housing and mission-driven solutions to housing challenges.

Submission Procedures

  • Nominations will only be accepted by filling out the online forms.
  • Individuals, municipalities or organizations are encouraged to nominate their own project/activities as well as others in the housing field.
  • The nomination must demonstrate how the nominee has impacted housing efforts in Palm Beach County. Feel free to include additional information (i.e., newspaper articles, biographical summaries, published work written by the nominee, or letters of support may be included.)
  • Submission Deadline: March 6, 2026 by 5:00 p.m.
