A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT

Dear Friends,

As the Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County, Inc., continues its commitment to devise and implement new solutions to the affordable housing shortage in our area, I am delighted to have been chosen to lead an organization whose mission is near and dear to my heart.

I have learned a great deal from my extensive non-profit experience working with families in need, and fully understand the scope and issues surrounding what has become an endemic problem in our society. Never before has the time been more right to take action against a crisis that threatens the stability of the region’s workforce and economic well-being.
 
By working together, both the private and public sectors, we can coordinate our resources and knowledge to initiate a unique campaign that will alleviate and ultimately eliminate the inadequate supply of affordable housing for working families. Together, we can serve as a role model for other counties and be a catalyst for change throughout the Sunshine State. Our team has outlined hefty goals to advocate on affordable housing issues and will be employing a comprehensive plan to address the problem in Palm Beach County.
