Davis Landings Affordable Housing Apartment Project

 

Bid Notice

 

Please note the following for the IFB:

1. There is a mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting next Thursday @ 10:00 AM EDT Attendance is required. Failure to attend disqualifies your ability to bid.

2. Plans and specifications will be available tomorrow August 4, 2011 from Westside Reprographics for approximately $84. All bidders are required to obtain at least one set of plans and the computer disk with the project specifications.

3. Bids are due August 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM EDT at the Community Land Trust headquarters:

4. All RFI's and questions must be in writing and emailed to Larry Zabik (lzabik@zabikandassociates.com). All questions will be responded to by a written addendum. The deadline for questions is August 17, 2011 at 5:00 PM EDT.

5. The Architect for the project is Liz Colome', of Colome' & Associates.

6. Plans are currently in for permitting at Palm Beach County. We expect all permits required for construction to be issued no later than August 31, 2011.

7. This project is funded with a Neighborhood Stabilization Program grant; the Housing and Urban Development grant has imposed significant contractual responsibilities on the CLT of PBC. The most significant is a requirement to spend $1.5M of the construction budget on-site with in-place work no later than December 15, 2011. The IFB and contract for this project will impose significant penalties for failure to meet this requirement.
