Strategic Goal: Structure Clearinghouse Role
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will provide a single source of information and resources to further our housing and related economic development efforts.

Strategic Goal: Business Plan for Sustainability
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will implement a business plan that provides for the long-term sustainability of the organization.  The business plan will link the mission to the projected resources needed to accomplish that mission and to the revenue sources and options that will best sustain the organization in its long-range mission.  There will be a major initiative to expand the supporting participation of government, economic development agencies, and employers. 

Strategic Goal: Education and Capacity-building
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will work to educate governmental agencies, the private sector and the general public about the need and challenges for providing housing for our workforce and its economic impact, and bring educational programs and capacity-building tools that support these efforts.

Strategic Goal: Marketing and Image-building
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will formulate and implement a marketing plan and strategy that will expand the marketing and promotion of its mission, image, services and value to the community. The marketing plan and strategy will include the formulation of marketing goals, identification of niche target markets, preparation of a marketing mix, and determination of the communication / promotion mix.

Strategic Goal: Board Standing / Ad Hoc Committees
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will provide clarity and focus to its standing and ad hoc committees to include their mission and goals, purpose, authority, standing, representation, and performance expectations.  All standing committees will be expected to define their action plans, based on the mission and vision statements and strategic goals of the agency and their committee's specific mission and goals.

Strategic Goal: Partnership Engagement
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will expand its engagement with its core stakeholders in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.  This will include seeking and developing opportunities for collaborative efforts to maximize grant and development opportunities, leverage available funding sources and coordinate regular communication and meeting opportunities.

Strategic Goal: Workforce and Affordable Housing Policy Initiator and Influencer
The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County will develop policies for presentation to governmental staff and legislative bodies and agencies to improve development and access to housing and work with others to advocate for similar policies and projects that further our mission.
